Wear this on Mother’s day
It’s Mother’s day on Sunday and then you’ve got to tell the woman that gave birth to you that she’s the best, funniest, and prettiest. Perhaps you’ll also visit the woman that made your luv because she too deserves praise. Even though you sometimes feel like hitting her hard with your Mulberry, today you’ll cherish her.
Show your mother you’re such a great daughter today, and your mother-in-law is reminded to be thankful for such a lovely person as you on her sofa. How to do that? With a perfect present and an amazing look. My style advice in seven steps.
Dress with spring on your mind. Go for a dress with a small motif or something else frivolous.
Don’t like dresses? Choose trousers and a jacket, which you match with a distinct shirt. For example with a pointed collar or a bow. It’s all about femininity today.
A belt finishes off the look if it’s trousers or dresses.
My advice are flat shoes today. Strappy sandals if the sun’s shining or ballerinas or great espadrilles (amongst which Chanel’s favourite, of course), there’s a stroll to be made to keep this into account.
Hats are perfect on days like these. Choose one that mixes class with style and make sure it isn’t too big. A small pillbox a la Jackie O. Or perhaps a head band with flower corsage are perfect.
Accessories are a must. Choose for a striking brooch on the lapels of your jacket. Or perhaps a couple of bangles around your wrist. Instant success.
Last but certainly not least: dress comfortably. You’re outfit should be appropriate in which to sit on the sofa, go on a stroll through fields of lavender or attend an elaborate lunch.
