4 Lipsticks
you need this fall
So long sweet summer. Hopefully you’re still walking around with a bit of a summer glow, however that I-just-came-back-from-the-Caribbean glow will unfortunately disappear sooner rather than later. So time to add some color elsewhere to obscure the fact that you are pale as a ghost. Take at look at these four new beauties. My favorites, the must-haves of the season (because being on trend is important too) and the lipsticks that are going to pull you through the winter and add a little extra color to your life.
1. Dior Addict
Why? You might already have read why I’m a huge fan of the Dior Addict lipsticks right here and here, so you might have seen this one coming. Dior Addict is the perfect combination of a lipstick and a gloss and has a ton of perfect color nuances, so you are guaranteed to find the perfect match. It nourishes your lips (just like lip balm does) and adds a bit of shine and glimmer. Suited up in the nicest case makes it hard not to become addicted.
Which color? Be Dior is a personal favorite, but honestly I wouldn’t mind adding all 40 of the colors to my makeup bag.
2. Louboutin Silky Satin
Why? Every fashionista wants to carry this lipstick around in her Chanel purse, and it’s pretty evident why. It’s a dime in a dozen and wrapped in a chic case. All in all, very Instagrammable. There are 20 different shades to choose from, all giving your lips a silky smooth finish and nice shine. You might find the shoes to have a hefty price tag so why not opt for this pretty Loubie while you’re saving up?
Which color? Miss Clichy is the one you want.
3. M.A.C Cosmetics
Why? M.A.C. has the coolest names for their collections hands down. ‘Men Love Mystery’, ‘Flat Out Fabulous’ and ‘Razzledazzler’ to name a few. You know you can’t go wrong with these names and the great thing about M.A.C. is that it is a high end product for an affordable price. Easy to apply with a pretty matte finish. Fun fact: M.A.C. lipsticks are always used during professional photo shoots.
Which color? You can never go wrong with a classic red and Ruby Woo is the perfect candidate.
4. Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy
Why? This is actually a limited edition lipstick but it is everything you have been looking for. All the colors have been personally picked by Joan Smalls, so you know you can expect exceptional taste. The lipstick case is very luxurious and a true eye catcher. It has a creamy texture and a matte finish, a fantastic pigment and very hydrated. The coolest thing about this lipstick is probably the magnetic clasp. So easy to close.
Which color? We’ve got our sights set on Irrepressible.
