5 reasons why red hair is cool

A while ago I had my hair dyed and it turned out a little gingerish. It took some getting used to but now I think it’s pretty cool. Regarding the fact only 2 percent of the world population is born with red hair and there aren’t that many redheads around; I now belong to a select group.  That I’ve been called a copper kettle or ginger doesn’t bother me, red hair is cool. And I have 5 convincing reasons to prove my point.

SEXY HAIR

You’ll either love it or you’ll hate it. But redheads are commonly seen as hot & sexy. It has to be long hair though. Red hair always has a great shine and because it’s so full it looks soft and rich. Works like a charm with the boys but choose the right make-up, clashing is a no-go. It’s best to go for a natural look so your coupe will get all the attention.

ICONIC REDHEAD

With red hair you bring a unique package to the table. For this reason Several celebs have managed to get into the spotlight for this reason. To name a few successful redheads: Bette Midler, Susan Sarandon, Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, Julianne Moore, Kate Winslet (duh Titanic!), Nicole Kidman and Kirsten Dunst. All the more reason to go for red. The trend at the moment is as light as possible and stay close to blond. It could go a little orange but that’s allowed!

The movie The Little Mermaid is one of my favorites. Seriously: the dinglehopper has become a unique item. And because pretty Ariel has gorgeous red hair it makes her the prettiest mermaid ever.

This is Polish folklore. According to the Polish you are destined to win the lottery if you run into 3 redheads. The Danish on the other hand feel honored when their child is born with red hair. They consider it a rare beauty.

More hair

Red headed ladies have thicker and fuller hair than other hair types. This is the reason their coupe is always flattering and the red color compliments their perfect coupe. Good perk.
