How to do your hair
– Elsa hair from Frozen –
We’re all pretty taken with the film Frozen here at the office. Videos of playback material (you may want to see it, but I have to disappoint you, we’re keeping it private) are sent back and forth in our App-group, and the morning regularly starts with a sing-a-long show between May-Britt and Liesbeth. Luckily it doesn’t stop there either, we’re talking a genuine Frozen explosion. The Frozen style has even broken through to the fashion world and Pinterest and YouTube are full of hair tutorials. Ha, and that’s exactly what we were looking for. Elsa’s hair is super cool and turns a prudish princess into a rocking one. I want, you want, we all want.
What do you need?
A curling iron, volume powder, a handy braider in your midst (or you need to be able to do it yourself), a brush and a can of hairspray. It looks very loose, but that is the trap. Too loose and you’ll only enjoy it for a moment. Oh, and if you don’t have long locks like Elsa? No problem, but you’ll need to get to work with a few extensions. You won’t see them in the end, but they will give a beautiful full effect.
How you do it?
The tutorial below shows you how. You first need to introduce a good curl into the hair and then backcomb, especially the top layer. That will give your hair a rougher feel and more volume. Elsa does that too. Then braid all your hair. Doesn’t need to be precise, a little nonchalance is good. So don’t worry about a stray strand of hair or if it isn’t neat. You’re going to pull the braid out a little at the end anyway to give it a fuller look. You can always pull a few strands loose around the face afterwards. Then curl them lightly and flick back casually. Use a hairspray (or pins) to keep them in place, otherwise they’ll keep falling in your face. Tadaa. You’re the new Elsa.
