colorED mascara
Why?
I conducted a small scaled survey in the office and with my girlfriends, and my results have shown that no one in my circle of besties and colleagues ever uses colored mascara. Gobsmacking! A little color on your lashes can really make the color of your eyes pop and it’s such an easy and fast way to create a fresh look. It is also fantastic for festivals.
How do you apply it?
First of all, apply your trusty favorite black mascara. Not too thick though. Wait a few moments and then put your color on top. Don’t forget to give your lashes a little curl at the tips so they aren’t sticking out straight ath the end of the day. A little color on your lashes is enough. If you want your eyes to stand out more, you can apply eyeliner above and/or below your eye in the same color as your mascara. I wouldn’t worry about applying eye shadow. That would be too much, even for me.
Which color to choose?
Blue or gray eyes: a purple or pink color looks great on you!
Brown eyes: You can practically wear any color, but orange and blue are my favorites.
Green eyes: purple will make sure that your eyes will really ‘pop’.
My Top 3.:
