Anytime a package arrives at the office with a stamp from Brussels, we all race to it like a flock of birds, because a package from Brussels can only mean one thing: Chanel has arrived. And it just so happens that Chanel makes us very happy. Have a look at this and this if you weren’t already aware of our love. Okay, so that very last sentence was rather lame, but for their new collection Chanel was inspired by the rhythm of music. Think of jazzy cafés, hip rock music and think of a little bit of color and tension, because that’s where Chanel never seizes to be dull. All of this is translated into beautiful products to keep you not only soft and elegant during the day, but you can turn it up a notch in the evening. A round of applause for Blue Rhythm.
They have insane colors for your eyes. The colors from Les 4 Ombres are perfectly harmonized (ha, catch my drift?), where one is a dazzling turquoise color named ‘Tissé Jazz,’ and the other smokey pallet is entitled; ‘Tissé Smoky.’ And to spice it up a bit, there are two solo colors incase you want a few more options. ‘Swing’ is a clear blue color with a bit of glitter and the black is matte black with a dash of silver.
It’s evident that Chanel is always in the mood for a wild blowout, because your eyes are allowed to be even bigger and shinier. They have introduced the world to a new volume mascara giving your lashes the ultimate twist and dynamic in the colors ultra noir and dark blue. To make the look even more impeccable you can apply their metallic eyeliner just in case you’re still looking for a little extra sensation, then they have their ‘Jazzy Blue’ mascara. Very turquoise but so very very cool. Your eyes are pretty much having a little party of their own.
And if your eyes are having a party, then your lips are keeping it low key. They’ve got a transparent lip gloss that gives your lips that small little boost it needs without becoming overbearing.
Oh and on a final note. Never excuse yourself from having no time to give your nails a fresh new polish. With these colors you’ll make time. Two new colors; ‘Fortissimo’ is a dark navy blue and ‘Vibrato’ a fluttering blue.
Blue it is this fall guys, really. Blue is the color for you.
Zien we Brussel op de postzegel, beginnen we allemaal als kraaitjes naar de envelop te graaien, want dat betekent dat er weer een pakketje Chanel gearriveerd is. En laten wij nu eens heel blij worden van Chanel. Nog niet door gehad? Ik verwijs je even naar deze en deze postjes. Blijf dit postje ook even lezen want de herfstcollectie van Chanel klinkt ook als een muziekje in den oren.
Oké, die laatste zin is heel flauw, want Chanel heeft zich in de nieuwe collectie laten inspireren door het ritme van de muziek. Denk jazzy cafés, hippe rock én denk dus wel een beetje kleur en spanning, want Chanel laat zich nooit van haar saaie kant zien. Dat vertaalt zich naar beauty’s van producten waarmee je soft & elegant door de dag kunt komen en waarmee je het tempo en dus de zwaarte iets kan aanzetten in de nacht. Een warm applaus voor Blue Rhythm.
Voor de ogen zijn er weer waanzinnige kleuren. De kleuren van Les 4 Ombres zijn perfect in harmonie (há, snap je ‘m?), waarvan de één in de shiny dazzling turquoise kleuren is; ‘Tissé Jazz’, en de ander in een smokey palet blijft; ‘Tissé Smoky’. En dan zijn er nog twee solokleurtjes om de boel op te spicen mocht het je allemaal nog niet genoeg zijn. ‘Swing’ is een heldere blauwe kleur met een fijn glittertje en de zwarte is een matzwarte kleur met een sprankje zilver.
Dat Chanel wel van een knalfuif houdt blijkt, want de ogen mogen nog grootser en glanzender. Dus is er een volumemascara in het leven geroepen die de wimpers een ultieme draai en dramatiek geeft in de kleuren ultranoir en donkerblauw. Met een metallic eyeliner kun je alles nog even extreem perfectioneren en mocht je nog niet genoeg spanning hebben, dan is er ook nog een mascara in de kleur ‘Jazzy Blue’. Hartstikke turquoise, maar zo ontzettend cool. Die ogen vieren dus wel een feestje op zich.
En als de ogen dus dat feestje vieren, houden de lippen zich gedeisd. Er zit een transparante gloss in die wel nét even die boost op de lippen geeft, maar niet te overheersend overkomt.
Oh en als laatste noot. Nooit meer zeggen dat je geen tijd had om je nagels van een verse lak te voorzien. Met deze kleuren máák je er wel tijd voor. Twee kleurtjes; ‘Fortissimo’ is een donkere navy blauw en ‘Vibrato’ zorgt natuurlijk voor het kwispelende blauw.
Echt, blauw is het hoor, deze herfst. Blauw is het voor jou.
