It’s safe to say that I have become a great representative of the natural beauty look but a bit of color never hurt anybody. Had a rough nights sleep? Adding a bit of color to your lips works miracles. And going all out for a party can be fun too. Okay wait, when I say go all out I don’t mean go crazy but here are a few tips and tricks to find the best colors that suit the color of your skin.

I’ve already informed you guys on how to make your eyes look even prettier. And to keep in line with that, I’ve jotted down which colors work best with which eye color.

Green eyes: purple always works. Purple is the contrast color of green so they evoke a bit of sensation. You can also always opt for brown or grey shades, those are also a great match for your eye color.

Blue eyes: very light, natural colors look best on you. They make your blue eyes pop. And if you want to go for something a bit more fierce, go for a colorful eyeliner. It’ll enhance your eyes even more.

Grey/blue eyes: a light grey, a silvery blue or any other metallic colors. These empower your eyes.

Green/brown eyes: fall colors are the way to go. Think of any shade you might come across in a forest: from chestnut browns to dark green mossy colors.

Brown eyes: bronze, copper- and blue shades are made for you.

There are endless amounts of options so I completely understand that you might have a hard time picking a color. Take it from me, not every color suits you. Sometimes they’ll make your teeth look yellow, your skin pale or it’ll be a tad clownesque. But don’t worry, it really isn’t too hard to find a perfect match. Trust me.

Light skinned: coral or an orangey red look good on you. Make sure the base of the color has a soft undertone or else you might make your skin look very pale.

Yellowy skin tone: I repeat, go for coral. And purple port colors. Trust me, you can pull it off.

Olive skinned: dark shades with brown undertones work well on you. Even the trendy purple plum color works.

Caramel skinned: red, red, red. Everything looks good on you.

Dark skinned: you can pull off any bright color.
