I’ve seen my fair share of memorable and alluring shows but one of the highlights is definitely the finale at the Tommy Hilfiger SS16 show where all the models decided to strut through the implanted pool. Tommy had chosen Gigi (whose full name is Jelena Noura Hadid by the way) to lead the final walk, and rightfully so. My God that girl oozes sensuality (yeah, I said it). It almost made all the females question their heterosexuality. Myself included.

1. Gigi has a Dutch mother. Yolanda Foster was born and raised in Rotterdam and currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband David Foster who has a very comfortable bank account.

2. Her sister Bella is training for the Olympics. She is a gifted amazon.

3. Brother Anwar recently started his own modeling career. PR wise he’s completely set.

4. Gigi herself too was quite the sporty spice (hence the body) back in her teenage days. She was the captain of her volleyball team at Malibu High School.

5. Gigi’s mother, Yolanda, has been suffering from Lyme disease for quite a while. She’s been traveling the world searching for a cure. And yesterday during the Global Lyme Alliance Gala she announced that her daughter Bella and son Anwar were unfortunately also struggling with this disease.

6. Gigi’s stepdad is David Foster, an acclaimed music producer. You might know him from hits like ‘I have nothing’ from the movie The Bodyguard. And like I said, he’s living comfortably.

7. I have to investigate this territory a little further however, Kendall Jenner calls David Foster her ex-stepdad. So technically Gigi and Kendall are step-dad-sister-in-laws. Sort of.

8. Yolanda Foster has an Instagram account dedicated to her fridge. Housekeeping’s wet dream. Her fridge has 15.000 followers.

9. Gigi has an estimated 200 pair of jeans.

10. And yes, beauty, sex and brains definitely go hand in hand. Bella studies photography at Parsons in New York and Gigi studies ‘criminal psychology.’

11. Another fun fact: Gigi has two ‘real’ stepsisters. David Foster’s daughters have their own reality show with the brilliant title Barely Famous.
