How to boost your metabolism
It’s important to get your metabolism started in the morning. It’s your motor and has to get running and get running well. And that goes for everybody.
The moment you get up; drink a glass of lukewarm water. Cold is fine too but from what I’ve read warmer water is overall better.
I’m also a big fan of freshly squeezed lemon in the morning. Throw it back in one shot. My dentist doesn’t really agree with me on this one.
Eat fibers and proteins. A bowl of oatmeal is fantastic. You’re well on your way if you add some cayenne pepper, very spicy (so not too much), this will kick start your metabolism. You can also blend this into a shake with banana an orange for example.
Skipping breakfast in general is very a bad idea. By eating you kickstart your engine.
Sports. Running is free. Right out the front door, a good circle around the block and it’s in the pocket. No workout hassle and good for your mindset too. A little yoga won’t hurt either. Just start with a few sun salutations. In your garden, on your balcony or in your own living room.
