How to get Parisien hair?

Parisiennes always look so good, read: as if they’ve done nothing to achieve it (but actually spent an hour in front of the mirror), that’s clear. Really, it’s not that difficult to get that ‘joie de vivre‘- into your hair. Read below and you can have it too.

dying your hair is a no no

Don’t colour your hair. Or, if you must do it to hide a few grey hairs, then go for your original colour to highlight and bring a bit of shine to your hair. This rule is more or less followed by everyone; keep the colour that mother nature blessed you with.

No go: Hairdryer

Do not blow-dry your hair with a hairdryer. In fact: chuck it out the window. Instead choose for more environmentally friendly methods. Fresh air in the summer and a towel in the winter. Wash your hair in the evening if possible, because the Parisienne never goes out the door with wet hair.

Don’t wash it

Go to bed with towel dried hair. This creates a far more interesting style when you wake up. Furthermore: besides the fact that washing your hair is not good for it, it is not necessary to do so. Because your hair always looks better the day after. The volume is tripled and you won’t need to tie it in a knot. The Parisienne only does that on the third no-washing day.

The eighteen plus rule

18+? Avoid hair accessories. Yes, also hair clips, hair bands and any other decorative accessory. Don’t use them. Perhaps just one little elastic if you must.

Age plays no part

Your hands and face may betray your age, so make sure your hair gets all the attention. Have a stylist shape it. Yes, they can use a hairdryer. Another option is tying it back. Without showing a hint of accessory obviously.

Beach look

Worship the magical summer times when your hair looks good. Sea water and sunshine always make for perfect looking hair. A little rough, a touch of air and a bit of salt. Do it. Your hair will look fabulous.

Spray here and there

Obviously you spray a touch of perfume in you hair. A little behind your ear and a dab in the neck.
