Our blogger friend Leandra Medine a.k.a The Man Repeller brought a rather interesting book to our attention, called ‘I’ll Have What She’s Having’. With Rebecca Harrington going deep into her experiments and experiences with celebrity diets, and reporting on them in a hilarious manner. This New York journalist tried everything out: from the pasta diet of Sophia Loren to the cabbage soup of Dolly Parton, but also dared to take on the eccentric eating habits of Victoria Beckham, Karl Lagerfeld and Elizabeth Taylor. All meant to get you as thin and pretty as possible.

It was no surprise that Beyoncé came out as the biggest loser of the bunch – in the kilo department that is. The writer first tried the Master Cleanse, which Bey used to lose weight with for her role in Dream Girls and then the Herculean diet that she followed to rid herself of pregnancy kilos after the birth of Blue Ivy. Rebecca lost almost 5 kilos in 10 days.

Victoria Beckham’s diet was named the biggest nightmare by Rebecca. She was only allowed five handfuls of food per day and “Posh has tiny hands”. If that doesn’t make you hungry…
