Lara Stone leaves her husband

A shock went through Amayzine HQ when news reached us this morning that Lara Stone and her husband, David Walliams might be broken up.

“He’s keeping up a brave front, but the people close to him are worried because they know he’s devastated.”

The Daily Mail reported that the Dutch super model and British comedian have split and a trial separation has been applied for. Although the couple have not been spotted together for a few months, the breakup has apparently come as a surprise for mutual friends. The reasons behind the breakup can only be guessed at, however it is clear that Lara is the one  who threw in the towel.

The blond beauty apparently left the marital home in London’s Primrose Hill and took their two year-old son Alfred and the dog Bert with her. David remained ‘devastated’ behind. “He’s keeping up a brave front, but the people close to him are worried because they know how devastated he is”, stated a source. It seems he is determined to win his wife back.

“He is a real gentleman, but with a mean sense of humor. But in a good way. We have so much fun. I’m very happy.”

It’s about five years ago that the Little Britain star  managed to capture the heart of the 12-year younger Lara. After having dated for only a few months, he proposed to the Calvin Klein model in Los Angeles with a vintage engagement ring. Earlier he had formally asked her parents in The Netherlands for her hand. Lara said later in an interview about the marriage, “He is a real gentleman, but with a somewhat sarcastic sense of humor. But in a good way. We have so much fun. I’m very happy.”

Lara Stone en David Walliams were a couple that you could really enjoy at a distance. So attractive and funny and quirky. Let’s interpret the term ‘trial separation’ as though there’s still a spark of hope for a reunion. Go get our girl, David!
