On Wednesday I went on a day trip to Paris with Jet. I always try to pop in to le Meurice whenever I’m there. It has work-cred too, because the chance of bumping into an interesting person at le Meurice is high.

They all hang out there. “And if we see a famous person, we’re going to introduce ourselves huh May?” Jet asked me as we stepped through the revolving doors. We were together so had double courage. I totally agreed with her until I spotted Catherine Deneuve to the left. Well I didn’t quite have the courage for that.

Right before I stamped coward on my head, I saw Erica Pelosini walk by. You know, she from the extremely glamorous Capri wedding. Married to Dutch Louis Leman no less. The guy who makes the most gorgeous men’s shoes ever. I dared to approach Erica, because we’ve had cocktails together in New York and salads in London.

Erica is as Italian as it gets and was dressed from head to toe in the latest Balmain. Except for her bag. That was a Valentino.
