This pretty bag is from an equally pretty girl called Nina Nicolai Tompkins who is making her second appearance on our site. She lives in London and can frequently been found strolling through Hyde Park and various art galleries. Today this London based beauty is letting us peek through her bag.

how many bags do you have?

I currently have about 8 (designer) bags.

tell us, what’s the story behind this bag? where, when and how did you get it?

This 3.1 Philip Lim backpack was gifted to me last winter by my mother. Backpacks had suddenly made a comeback and they were very practical for college; my Macbook even fits in it. And that is precisely the argument I made to obtain it.

How well do you take care of your bags? Are you delicate or do you just dump them in a corner?

A bit of both to be honest. On the one hand I try to be careful and put them back in their dust bags after having used them, but on the other hand I often stuff my groceries in them after having dropped by the super market. I want to be able to use them as often as I’d like so I’m not too picky on how often I use them and plus, after a while you start looking for something new to add to your collection anyway.

what about the things you carry around in your bag? is it messy or is everything perfectly organized?

The inside of my bag is pretty organized. I usually use this 3.1 Phillip Lim for school, so it’s got a pen, my agenda and my iPad mini. Plus a few make up products, a card holder, my cell phone, a book and sometimes some sort of item or clothing or an extra pair of shoes (which I stuff in there somehow…).

what do you always carry around?

I carry around lipgloss and chap-stick in all my bags. I’m addicted. But you can also always find my cardholder and debit cards, my drivers liscense and college pass, keys and my phone (and candy too cause I’m always hungry).

According to you, what are the ultimate features a bag can have?

Color always attracts me. I never shy away from something that pops because its the perfect accessory for any outfit. Other than that I think it’s important that a bag doesn’t bombard you with its label. So vibrant in color with an elegant label.

last but not least: which bag(s) can we currently find on your wish list?

The Dior Lady Bag can absolutely be found on my wish list. But that’s not the only one! The Bvlgari Serpenti Forever, the Launer Traviata and the Hermès Constance shoulder bag to name a few.
