TOUCHDOWN TOMMY
A permanent fix 11 am Monday New York Fashion Week is Tommy Hilfiger’s show. One of those wonderful empty-the-wardrobe shows. Backdrop is an all-American spectacular, the best models and clothes you want to put on right now ‘cos fall/winter is shown in February, so bring on those fun-fur coats, caps and woollen sweaters.
Yesterday Tommy had a replica American Football Stadium built as a decor and in the field came Anna Ewers (she opened the show, which is understandable – try to find someone more gorgeous and sexy), Gigi Hadid, Jourdan Dunn, Malaika Firth and our Dutch girls Maartje Verhoef, Julia Bergshoeff and Ine Neefs. OK, OK, Ine’s Belgian but that still counts, sort of.
The VIPs also braved the elements and scrambled to the Park Avenue Armory. Chiara Ferragni, Olivia Palermo, Mariano Di Vaio, Janelle Monáe and Rita Ora sat waving and clapping a few rows in front of us. Rightly so , for Tommy once again had a superb collection. he also had the best and most models, the greatest music and the most beautiful staging. So it was Touchdown for Tommy.
What did the celebs and models think? We asked every single one of them. Take a look!
