5 Reasons to polish in pastel

The easiest way to give your wardrobe a spruce up this summer is to customize your polish. And this summer we are all doing pastel. The mint can stay, but the coral colors can be briefly slid to the side. It is still very summery, but not a current trending topic in beauty land.

.

Think pastel, think a little Easter softness. Restrained, dusty colors. Don’t think that it is dull and that your hands will fade into the background. There are many benefits to these shades. Dusty does not equal dull, no doubt about it. Five benefits for you at a glance, so you can go forth this summer sweetly colored.

Pretty pastel

The nails at Kenzo, Michael Kors and Desigual shows this season were all painted in a range pastels. I say range because there was not just one coloring; there were combinations of several colors. This works very well. You can go for graphic shapes (think half moons) or a kind of blending that imitates candy sprinkles.

tanned

With pastel on the hands or feet, everything seems a lot more tanned. Really very useful if you have not seen much sun. Seems a touch healthier too.

Postponable

If you do not feel like touching up your nails, totally understandable, with pastels it’s not a necessity. You won’t see pastel chipped nail polish in a hurry, pastel is too close to the natural color of your nail. Woop Woop, you can just delay it a few days.

well Cared for

In addition to it being a huge hit this summer, pastel color on your hands guarantee to give a well cared for look. The point is to take your time. With light colors unkempt cuticles are more noticeable. Solve this issue by lubricating your cuticles with oil, file your nails well (in one direction) and use a base coat. Don’t forget to layer the polish thinly. Entirely in pastel colors. Then you get the best result without air bubbles and no streaks.

compliments each outfit

Seems like a clear story. Another benefit is that pastels work with everything. The nails stick to the background and thus give the outfit more attention, while still complementing each other.
