October arrived in style, with events and creative collaborations galore this week.

Monday was brightened by the arrival of my brand new, hand painted artwork featuring my favorite shopping streets from around the world. Who doesn’t love a mix of wanderlust and couture to inspire their daily sartorial decisions?

Tuesday, I met with photographer and artist Karen Bystedt and her manager Luis Calderon. Karen is the artist behind the “Lost Warhol” series, and I’m thrilled to be working with her on a collaboration of leather jackets and bar stools featuring her Warhol photography!

Thursday and Friday DTLA Custom headed to Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills for an in-store painting event. Two of our talented artists painted gold initials on Parker clutches for customers, and the results were gorgeous.

After wrapping up at Saks I hopped in my car and headed to the Malibu Country Mart to celebrate Cie Sparks Salon’s one-year anniversary. My hairstylists Heather Cie and Michael Sparks are amazing hair wizards that I cannot recommend enough. For the event I wore my new Armani Red Lip Lacquer and I’m absolutely obsessed with it.

After leaving Malibu I stopped by the private viewing party of the Street Art Fair at Siren Studios which was served as a nice dose of inspiration!

The week ended on an exciting note, when our girl Morgan Stewart (@boobsandloubs) of Boobs and Loubs and actress on Rich Kids of Beverly Hills, debuted her new DTLA Custom x Linea Pelle leather jacket. I love with how it turned out—the perfect complement to those red Loub soles.

Until next week!

Xo,

Tara Martin
