Tara Martin a business woman, fabulous fashionista and born and raised Angeleno. Lucky for us (and you) she is also the latest addition to our Amayzine team of international editors. Every week she will give us an inside look on her life on the fault line.

It was a week packed with art presentations, collaborations and creativity in Los Angeles!

I started the week in my favorite way: with a Wildcard Boxing Gym sweat session. I love the DTLA Custom boxing gloves we created and I’m 100% convinced they make me a better boxer. 

On Wednesday I popped over to Hyde for a presentation that showcased a collaboration between some amazing artists, including my friend Karen Bystedt, and Chris Brown! At the event I realized my accessories were making me completely unapproachable, which is probably why Chris Brown and I didn’t become instant best friends like I thought we might.   

On Thursday our new Director of Business Development and I headed to Galerie Montaigne Art Exhibit for a Reception featuring French Artist, Laurent Proneur. How chic did she look with our DTLA Custom Ms Pacman clutch?

I ended the workweek with some exciting meetings, including a stop at Stumptown Coffee for a conversation with an artist we’ll be collaborating with soon.

On Saturday night I attended MAMA Gallery’s presentation of Hi, How Are You Daniel Johnston? an exhibition exploring the art, music and mind of singer-songwriter-artist Daniel Johnston. It was an incredible exhibition, and even the sidewalk outside of the gallery left me feeling inspired.
