5 BIZARRE THINGS YOU DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT MAKING MONEY
So you’ve spent your college years working up a sweat to try and get those straight A’s. And okay, graduating cum laude is an idea you let afloat a while back (cause all those parties were too much fun not to attend), but having an average B+/A- score should still make a great entrance into the working world. Wrong. You would be better off getting your teeth bleached, or having been born a man cause those are apparently the things that’ll help you on your quest to a high salary.
1. Men make more money
For every euro a man makes, a woman only makes 83 euro cents. For the exact same work. And the same amount of hours. At least.
2. Height
The taller you are, the more you make. Preferably five centimeters more than the countries average.
3. Natives
Another one of those things that unfortunately hasn’t changed yet. But if you are an immigrant, the odds of being invited for a job interview are half as likely as a native.
4. Teeth, teeth, teeth
The whiter and cleaner the teeth, the more successful the lady. If you’ve ever contemplated getting braces; do it. It won’t do you any harm.
5. There’s hope
Even after all the research that’s been done covering the stereotypical advantages; the more confident you are, the bigger the odds of getting promoted. If you believe in yourself, someone else is more likely to do so too. And wearing those sky high Loubies will steer you in the right direction. All I have to say is go out and get ‘em. You’ll earn back the money in no time with that killer salary increase you’ll be getting cause of your amplified confidence).
