the easiest way to lose weight
– And the cheapest too –
I find diets to be very passé, but I would be lying if I said we weren’t keeping a close eye on our food intake and that there are trends to be found in that department too.
An important weight loss trend from the past few years is that it is more important to be healthy and happy rather than skinny, which is a good thing. There was once a time when I too was a bit too skinny; always puffing cigarettes and I drank more coffee and wine than I did water. Happy and healthy is the new black, with a bit of a lean effect.
It’s just a tip. Healthy, free and good for you.
Apparently these two are assembling. The University of Birmingham did some research among 84 fatties (I’m sorry for the lack of a better word, but unfortunately this was the case) and gave half of the group the commission to think that they were fully stuffed before they were about to eat, and the other half of the group the task to drink half a liter of water half an hour before a meal.
The results? The group who had been asked to drink half a liter of water (three times a day) lost an average of five kilo’s in twelve weeks time. All because they added more water into their drinking habits. It’s just a tip. Healthy, free and good for you.
