The Golden TIPS
by YouTube-gurus
Beauty vloggers are received with open arms worldwide and I get that, where we used to struggle when applying the perfect eyeliner or French braiding our hair, now we’re hands on. Do you have a beauty question? Well this is Amayzine.com (the perfect place to start and stay put) or you just Google it on the Internet and will find thousands of instructions at your disposal. Even we were thrilled when we found out Elsa’s hair was a possibility in real life, a big hug for the beauty vloggers. And they have some great tips, even though some of them are rather obvious, still good to know. It’s an extra insurance that things will never go wrong.
If you want your lips to look fuller you use a lighter color in the center area of your lips. This creates depth and has a positive effect. A tip by Elsa Rhae.
Fake lashes are a bit of a thingy. I’ve applied them once, a long long time ago before I was a beauty editor, resulting in them slipping off halfway through my evening. FreshBlush is one of the best international beauty bloggers and a household name when it comes to applying fake lashes. Her tip: add a little extra glue to the ends of your lashes. That’s where they start losing their grip; a little extra glue will prevent that. And always put glue on your hand and from there you apply it to the lashes. You won’t get any flaky residue.
Glam&Gore makes fabulous Amy Winehouse-wings. That’s quite the art because not everyone can get them in sync. In her tutorials she tells us how she does it without using up too many Q-tips. Just use a paintbrush. A good brush and you’re halfway there. “ A lot of people try to paint the lines themselves but you really have to leave it to the brush. You’ll get the most fluent and natural line.” So, follow the brush.
Rosy McMichael shows us all the Do’s and Don’ts in her vlog when it comes to foundation. Her biggest frustration is that there are too many people walking around with the wrong foundation color. All because people test it in a store on top of the foundation they’re already wearing. Not very handy. Your jawline is the base of your face. If the color looks good there, it works everywhere.
Tight lines are tricky, especially if you only have one brush. A good Smokey eye doesn’t require four different brushes according to Lolo Love. You just change the angle to create a full effect or a tight line. If you want a tight line, carefully push the brush against the eye shadow so the color only sticks to the top of the brush.
