the recipe to seduce a man

Our health and fitness editor Jet is hibernating for the entire month of November to cook up a storm. Or in her case, a cookbook. And since she doesn’t want us to go off the deep end when it comes to health, she’s found a couple a cool fit girls to guide us through the month. We’ve currently got former Dutch model and actress Ellemieke Vermolen who will be introducing us to her healthy and happy lifestyle.

This is it: my acclaimed spaghetti alle vongole. This is the dish I used to seduce my husband Sergio Herman. Well, at least I’m sure it played some sort of role. By now, our kids love it too and it’s a dish we eat regularly. So here’s the recipe and…good luck ladies.

Ingredients

– 300 g spaghetti van bruine rijst of spelt

– olive oil

– chopped union

– 4 chopped cloves of garlic

– red chili pepper, cut into rings

– 15 cherry tomatos, diced in half

– pepper and salt

– 500 g vongole

– a shot of white wine

– chopped parsley

– 1 lemon

Preparation

Cook the spaghetti al dente in water with a pinch of salt and a shot of olive oil. Make sure to stick to the cooking time written on the packaging. In the meantime, heat up the olive oil in a different frying pan, sauté the onion, garlic, chili pepper and tomatoes. Add some salt and pepper for some extra flavor. Add the shellfish and shake the pan until you slowly see them open. Throw on the white wine, let it boil down and then squeeze on some lemon juice and a trickle of olive oil.

Tip: For less of a spicy version, make sure to get rid of the seeds aligned in the center of the peppers and chop there pepper into smaller pieces.
