THE WEEK THAT WAS
in 5 snacks
Take a load off and I’ll fill you in the things you need to know about this past week.
This week we were treated to 10 new angels and it wasn’t even Christmas. This Tuesday Victoria’s Secret introduced ten new angelic recruits. The beauties come from all over the world: Russia, Brazil, Poland, the USA, Ireland and The Netherlands. They were already part of the lingerie brand’s team but have now been promoted to the elite group allowing them to grow huge wings and go through life in gorgeous lingerie.
Just as last week Bruce Jenner has been the center of attention. After his revealing interview the world needed a moment to digest. In summary: Bruce is a woman. He had always felt this way and decided now is the time to continue his life as a lady. Dresses, nail polish, blowouts – stepdaughter Kim has convinced him of the importance of looking good – Bruce is totally indulged. The response was divided but the majority responded with admiration and respect to the story of the former Olympic champion. Diane von Furstenberg congratulated him by placing a cute photoshopped pic in DvF.
Pamela Anderson is known for her bombshell looks but also has the reputation of a drama queen. The peroxide blonde from Malibu has had a pretty turbulent life and added another chapter to it this week when announcing her second divorce from Rick Salomon, the man who enjoys eternal fame because of his sex tape with Paris Hilton. The former Baywatch babe married the professional poker player a second time but the duo has come to the conclusion that it wasn’t meant to be. Pamela is said to be devastated by the failure of her marriage.
The panties aren’t even dry form the first part and the second part is already in production. This week we saw the first teaser of Fifty Shades Darker. The sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey in which Christian and Anastacia mess around with vaginal beads among other things.
This week the European parliament decided that wine labels should include the amount of calories the bottle contains. This is quite a confrontation for those who considered their Friday night liquid dinner as part of their balance day.
