tight abs in 24 hours
My hubby doesn’t believe me but trust me when I tell you that there are a lot of things you can do in a day to tighten up that body of yours.
I have a few nutrition rules I stick to anytime I want to get suited up into a sample size and believe me, they work. So when you’re struggling with that extra kilo you want to loose, then just stick to these guidelines. I found this recipe on Elle.com.
Breakfast
According to our friends at Elle you should start the day off with oatmeal, but since I hate oatmeal, I’m giving you their second option. Two cooked eggs and red fruit. The eggs’ll give you a warm and full feeling without it being fattening. The red fruit works as purgatives and are filled with vitamins.
Snack
A handful of unsalted nuts (I know I know, there are better things in life, but it is filling) and a mandarin.
You can also opt for celery sticks and dip them in a small bit of peanut butter, but I find this to be quite an unpalatable snack on a Sunday afternoon. And it’s not great if you’re hoping to get kissed…
Lunch
Fill a big bowl with Romaine lettuce, chop up half a cucumber, add twelve cherry tomatoes and half an avocado plus a cooked egg. Ditch the roasted pine nuts this time (filled with calories) and replace them with sunflower seeds. Top it off with a dressing made from fresh lemon juice. And okay, since it’s a Sunday…you can add a small pinch of salt.
Snack
Greek yoghurt with a bit of cinnamon. For those of you who didn’t know it yet; cinnamon is made up of a natural sweetener and it’s been said that the scent can get rid of stress. Give it a try. The Greek yoghurt is nice and heavy so it’ll sooth your appetite.
Another option is to fill a bowl with slices of cucumber. Add some dill on top and you can opt to add some slices of red pepper. Since cucumbers are filled with water and fibers, this too with sooth your appetite.
Dinner
One of my favorites. Stir-fry fresh spinach (super healthy). I always add some unions, a clove of garlic and a bit of red pepper. Pair it with salmon (preferably steamed, but baked in a bit of olive oil is good too) and some roasted vegetables. If you happen to add a bit of fennel, then you really are on a roll because fennel works as a cleanser. I however, am not a huge fan of it so I prefer to leave it out. The salmon is filled with Omega 3 (a healthy type of fat) which helps you burn other fats – and it’s great for your skin.
It’d be a smart idea to lock up any chocolate you might have sitting around in your house, and then I promise you, that kilo or two you’ve been struggling with will have disappeared into thin air. You’re welcome!
