Felblauw

Wintertrend wordt zomertrend: felblauwe eyeliner, oogschaduw of oogpotlood. Ik vind het in ieder geval dolletjes. We zagen de kleur dikwijls bij de laatste Fashion Weeks, bij blogger Chiara Ferragni, maar ook bij rising star en donkere godin Lupita Nyong’o. De blonde dames onder ons moeten wel even oppassen voor het Barbie-effect; houd de rest van je make-up rustig (vooral níet gecombineerd met roze lippenstift). 

Je begrijpt; opsmukken met wat blauw klinkt mij goed in de oren. Dus ik duik in de make-upkast van Amayzine (dit is de zevende beautyhemel kan ik je vertellen) en kies voor de ‘Kajal Intense’ van Yves Rocher. Een kobaltblauwe oogschaduwstick die goed mikt. Erg prettig, want ik ga voor een subtiele streep boven mijn zwarte eyeliner, dus no need for wattenstaafjes. Opgedirkt en wel huppelde ik naar huis, waarop vriendjelief me allerminst voorzichtig liet weten dat ik er bijloop als een hoochie mama. Tss, mannen.

bright blue

Winter trend becomes summer trend: bright blue eyeliner, eye shadow or eye pencil. They sure turn my brown eyes blue, but in a good way. Chiara Ferragni, and, rising star, Lupita Nyong’o know what I’m talking about, seen everywhere at the latest Fashion Weeks. Blondes have to be careful to avoid the Barbie-effect; keep the rest of your make-up basic and natural (DO NOT combine with pink lipstick).

You understand: going blue sounded great to me so I took a dive into the Amayzine make-up cupboard (total beauty heaven) and went for the “Kajal Intense” by Yves Rocher. A cobalt-blue eye shadow stick. Easy to handle which is great as I was aiming for a subtle line above my eyeliner, very accurate, so no need for Q-tips. All prettied up I skip home. According to my darling boyfriend (he said it very carefully) with this look I resemble a hoochie mama. Tsss Men!
