This month Victoria’s Secret will treat us to the ultimate summer dream with the first edition of her swimwear show. On 26 February CBS will be broadcasting a show featuring Angels Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, Elsa Hosk, Martha Hunt, Jac Jagaciak, Stella Maxwell, Joan Smalls and Jasmine Tookes wearing the latest swimsuits and bikini’s from the American lingerie label.
The trailer shows the super models frolicking on tropical beaches and cooling off under a waterfall. It’s a clip that will have many drooling and op top of that it’s been announced that this swimwear presentation will be accompanied by Behati’s sweatheart and his band, Maroon 5. All very lovely, but the video left us with a big question mark: where is Doutzen?
Our Frisian show pony, working for VS since 2008, was conspicuous by her absence. Has she thrown her strapless bra in the ring? Are the rumours true that she’s defected to La Perla? Or has she simply skipped a turn? It now remains totally unclear and for the time being, Victoria’s Secret.

Woensdag werd de trailer van de show vrijgegeven waarin de supermodellen over tropische stranden dartelen en zich afblussen onder een waterval. Een clipje waarbij menigeen het water in de mond zal lopen en bovendien wordt aangekondigd dat de badkledingpresentatie muzikaal begeleid zal worden door Behati’s liefje en zijn band Maroon 5. Hartstikke leuk allemaal, maar de video laat ons met een groot vraagteken achter: waar is Doutzen?
Onze Friese showpony, die als sinds 2008 in actie komt voor VS, schittert in afwezigheid. Heeft ze haar gevleugelde beha in de ring gegooid? Kloppen de geruchten en is ze overgelopen naar La Perla? Of slaat ze gewoon een keertje over? Het is totaal onduidelijk en voor nu dus nog even, zeer toepasselijk, Victoria’s Secret.
