Happy & Healthy
Are coconuts good for you or aren’t they? I’ve read a multitude of articles from different professors, foodies and people that in some way or another know a lot about the product. I always skim through the people who aren’t on the ‘pro’ side, because I can’t live without it. I like to use it in the kitchen or in my smoothies but did you know there are more things you can do with coconut oil? (It’s going to save you a ton of money!) Check it out here.
As a night cream
The substance is very greasy which makes it the perfect substance to hydrate your face with. It’s going to help you save money that you would normally spend on expensive facial creams.
As aftersun
Since the sun is slowly but surely making a comeback, there’s a possibility of getting sun burnt. Incase it happens, smear on some coconut oil. It’ll calm and hydrate you skin.
For your cuticles
Want your nails to shine? Smear this on your cuticles every night before you head to bed.
As lip balm
Chapped lips? This will help re-hydrate your lips within seconds.
As a hair mask
Split ends? You know what to do. Smear this onto your hair, leave it for a couple of minutes before you rinse it out with shampoo. Hello, new hair!
For white teeth
Check out how to do it here. It works, I promise!
As a scrub
Mix your coconut oil with some salt or sugar and you can scrub off all your dead skin cells.
As a cleanser
Out of makeup remover? No worries, coconut oil will be your savior. Bye bye mascara.
As a massage oil
Why opt for some fancy massage oil when coconut oil can do the trick too? If you want to add a bit of a scent I would recommend adding some lavender oil.
As a lubricant
Last but not least. Your best option is the biological kind that doesn’t have any other added products. It’s safer. (Ha, word pun.)
