Happy & Healthy
3X fruity ice cream
If you can avoid the Ben & Jerry’s temptation
This past week we were spoiled at the office when a couple of lovely people showed up with Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. Resisting Ben & Jerry is hard. Are there actually even any people who don’t like it? No, didn’t think so.
But if you’re thinking: hmm, crap, the summer, that bikini, yikes, I’d rather go for a healthier popsicle, then I’m here for you. I’ve got three recipes for you to make yourself some homemade fresh and fruity ice cream. I can’t guarantee that it’s going to be just as great as B&J’s Cookie Dough though…
Mango
This is what you need
1 over ripe mango
4 big spoon fills of Greek yoghurt
Table spoon of honey (optional)
How to make it
Mix the mango and yoghurt in a mixer and if you’d like, add a bit of honey. This will make the flavor a little sweeter. Then pour the mix into the ice cream molds and leave it in your freezer for at least four hours.
TIP! Feel free to add raspberries as an added fruit. Looks cool and tastes great.
TIP 2! Add some rasps of coconut to the yoghurt!
Pineapple
This is what you need
A big ripe pineapple
Coconut water
How to make it
Peel the pineapple and chop it up into small cubes. Fill the molds with coconut water and the dices of pineapple. Place it in the freezer and wait for it to harden.
Kiwi
This is what you need
5 kiwi’s
Coconut water
Tablespoon of honey
How to make it
Puree the kiwi’s with a shot of coconut water and honey. The substance has to stay thick. Then pour it into the molds, then put them in the freezer until they’re hard. Bon appetite!
