5 beauty things men hate
Use it to your advantage. It’ll help.
Whereas you normally take a thorough amount of time to impress others with your look, there are a few things men could care less about. It’s time for you to wave goodbye to your favorite red lipsticks and overly sweet perfumes – they’re not going to help the bond the two of you have. So, make sure to take note of everything below and that love life of yours is going to be cranked up a notch.
1. Hour long rituals
It’s a common fact that women take longer than men to get ready. All they need is a quick run through their hair and they’re out the door, whereas us women do our hair, our makeup and spend a little longer picking out an outfit. But if it were up to the male population, they’d want us to be just as quick as they are. Those hour long rituals are not considered sexy. They want us to be as quick as possible, however, with the best outcome. Sounds like a challenge I know, but hey, if you want that relationship of yours to work, perhaps it’s time you give it a go.
2. Colored lips
Men find lips sexy. Red lipstick? Incredibly seductive, but far from practical. They say that you are less likely to get kissed in a club when you’ve got red lipstick on. So even though it might be considered sexy, it won’t work in your favor. Men prefer natural lips; no color, no gloss. The only thing that this selective committee can handle is a tiny bit of cream or lip balm, because what they do want is that a girl has soft lips. Pfff, why so picky?
3. Penetrating smells
The way you smell is a very important factor of seduction. If you reek of sweat, you’ll be rejected immediately (can’t really blame them). But there are other scents that’ll have men heading in the opposite direction. Unbelievably sweet perfumes and heavy evening ones. I would like to refer back to this post if you want to know which scents they do find appealing.
4. Short hair
This sounds extremely old fashioned but apparently it’s true. Men prefer their women to have long hair. Nowadays the beach look has been well established into the list of looks they love, but not all too long ago they even found that to be too crazy and messy. However, it looks like the pixie cut still has a long way to go before men start finding it attractive.
5. Extremely long nails
Nails; you might never have expected it, but men always check your hands to see if you have nice nails. OPI’s Suzi Weiss already told us what we should and shouldn’t do regarding your nails, but I’d like to add one more point to the list. Make sure they aren’t too sharp, too long or too pointy – men find this all but sexy.
