5 MINIMALISTIC TATTOOS THAT ARE REALLY COOL

I don’t know if I have told this story before: I was fourteen (!) when I got my first and most probably my last tattoo ever. My bestie at the time and I decided to be badasses and get little hearts tattooed onto our groins as an indication of our friendship.

She (we are no longer in contact) has extended her tiny tattoo, from what I’ve heard from others, into a huge heart with tribals, flowers, skulls: you name it. Not my style. My mini sign of love has remained tiny ever since and I can’t tell you how happy I am that it is. Minimalistic tattoos are hotter than hot, just so you know.

If it weren’t for the fact that I told my surroundings that I promised never to do something impulsive again to my body. But because of these charming petite tattoos, I’m starting to doubt myself. A tiny bit.

1. A little map on your ankle. For everyone who’s got wanderlust. Plus it’s extremely cute for all your holiday snapshots on Insta, with your toes in the sand.

2. A mini palmtree. Read what I just read above again and know that palm trees are the coolest things ever.

3. A short graceful text of a minimum of three words. The thinner the line, the better, the smaller and more graceful, the prettier. Nice on your feet or ankle, but works well on your forearm.

4. I once saw a girl at a festival who had a small tattoo on her finger. And believe me: combined with festival rings, it looked extremely cool.

5. The square, -pineapple or -swallow behind your ear. Corny or not, I think it’s really cool. And no mom, don’t worry. Really. I think…
