5 reasons you should eat carbs

Are carbs going to be the end of you? Hell no, are you kidding? Most fit girls have even banned carbs from their diets. “What? Brown bread and cheese? Are you insane?” Yes, I am. Because I love bread. And I love cheese.

And now I’m here to tell you why you should never feel guilty if you feel like devouring anything that contains carbs.

1. Generally speaking, people who eat carbs have a slimmer physique

I kid you not. Researchers from the University of Surrey have concluded something that makes me insanely happy: people who eat carbs will eat 10% less (150 to 200 calories) than they did the day before because, simply put, they’re less hungry. After three sandwiches you’ll be replenished, whereas the anti-carb girls will still be hungry after having eaten something carb-free.

2. It’s so hard to avoid them anyway

It doesn’t work when you decide to stop eating pasta and anything sweet. Vegetables, fruit, yoghurt and even salad dressings contain carbs. Good luck with that.

4. You can make it as healthy as you want to

Stuffing yourself with brownies, pizza’s and donuts never helped anyone loose any weight (sounds like a dream though…). But anyways, toasted whole grain bread with an egg, avocado and tomatoes is healthy too, isn’t it?

5. A second round? No problemo!

I decided to try out a ten week diet and I can tell you, it effected my metabolism a little more than I would have liked. I was given pills to help keep everything ‘running smoothly’. But hallelujah, thank god I’m back to normal bathroom visits.
