5 THINGS THAT ARE ANNOYING ABOUT WHATSAPP
Dead beat on the number one spot is that it’s so god damn addictive and I almost don’t even have to meet up with anyone because everything has already been discussed through the app. Yes, it’s nice too and sometimes easier than calling. App groups can also evidently be very annoying, but for some reason it always makes me feel closer to my friends. Same goes for my family. We’re all really busy, but sending a few mini-texts about what’s going on or a photo someone makes it feel like you’re together. But still, WhatsApp has a couple of functions that drives me mad:
- Autocorrect can both be the funniest and most annoying thing about WhatsApp. I made sure to turn mine off because it gives me the oddest and embarrassing texts.
- The checks indicating whether or not something has been read. Ai, the unnecessary problems they have created.
- And then there are the speech memo’s. They’re useful if you want to send someone a quick message, but why can’t you listen to it first to see if it sounds alright?
- It happens way too often that I accidentally press the speech memo button and then it takes a while before I can type again. Okay a hundredth of a second, but still.
- And lastly, where the heck is my avocado emoji? Or moving emojis? People dancing, beating hearts and kisses? Yes, I want them.
