FOR A CHEERFUL MORNING
It’s not uncommon for me to be a bit crabby in the morning. Usually depends on the exact time of day: the earlier it is, the harder it is for me to kick start my day. Regardless, I think it’s important to try and start the day off as cheerful as you can because it really will determine what the rest of your day will be like. Here are some tips that’ll have you leaping to work with a smile on your face in the morning.
1. First of all: go to bed on time. Believe me, this is going to help your mood a lot more in the morning. Try sleeping before the clock strikes 23:00.
2. Make sure the sound your alarm makes is pleasant rather than something that sounds like a drill in the morning. Why not try programing one of your favorite songs as your wake up call?
3. Open your window for a bit of fresh air.
4. Turn on some upbeat music and dance in your living room or when you’re in the shower.
5. Light some candles. Might sound odd, but for some reason it always makes me feel calm and collected in the morning. Plus, it makes your home cozy too.
6. If you woke up next to your significant other, give him or her a huge morning hug.
It’s that simple.
