7 HEALTHY PRODUCTS THAT HAVE A LONG SHELF LIFE

I’m a fan of having a well stocked up fridge. That way you don’t have to race to a grocery store right after work to buy something to eat for dinner. You’re tired, you’re hungry and you have no idea what you even want to make. Going to a grocery store when you’re hungry is one of the worst things you can do. You’re going to end up coming home with a whole lot of junk that you don’t need and you’ll regret even buying. Recognize yourself in this? Yes. Solution? Stock up your fridge and closets with healthy products that have a long shelf life.

1. Eggs. An omelet is always a good idea when you don’t really know what you want to have for dinner.

2. Pumpkin. Grilled or baked in the oven or used in a soup. Sweet potato works too by the way.

3. Stock up on some cans. Tomotos, beans and lentils. They’ve got a long shelf life and easy to use in the kitchen. For pasta for example or salads.

4. Consider getting some brown rice and quinoa too.

5. Use your freezer. Peas, pumpkin, spinach, fruit, bread…

6. Fresh herbs. Looks cool too in the kitchen and spices up your meal right away.

7. Oh yeah, and a bottle of wine is always a good idea too.
