which are great to do on your own
I’m not the religious type, but there is one aspect of those who are religious that I highly agree with: Sunday’s are a day of rest. Why? For the following:
Go for a walk
Drag yourself out for a fresh bit of air. With your favorite music coming out of your headphones. These are the precise moments when you come up with your most brilliant ideas – speaking from experience.
re-watch your favorite show again
Aaaand there we go again. For the millionth time. Sex and the City. Season 1. Episode 1. Big pot of tea beside you (and a ton of chocolate). Who said anything about stress?
R&R in your bath
Staying put is your code word. Staying in the tub and once you feel the water turn luke warm you just use your foot to turn on the faucet and add some more warm water. It’s a sport, people. (For the unfortunate bunch without a bath tub, a long warm shower works too).
give your nails a new color
Fi-na-lly time to give yourself a proper manicure. Clean and freshly polished nails make me so happy.
finish your to-do list
Like cleaning up that one room in your house which has been a mess for forever, or giving your fridge a proper cleanse, taking care of your administration… You’re going to be surprised how zen your Monday is going to be.
