My life in a bag

On any given Tuesday, I’m the one hunting down girls with pretty designer bags to let us peek inside of them, but this week the tables have turned. I brought my new designer baby to the office and May-Britt said I would be the perfect candidate this week for My Life in a Bag. So here I am, head over heels in love with my new Chloé, ready to tell you all about it…

How many bags do you own?

‘I have three designer bags I am extremely happy with.’

What’s the story behind this bag?

‘It was love at first sight. Well, first sight… I think I admired Chloé’s Mini Drew bag give or take three hundred times until I finally, finally purchased it a week ago.’

How well do you take care of your bags?

‘I generally think I take good and proper care of them. I’ll normally always place them on a chair or table beside me. I repeat; normally. I sometimes find the straps of my bags twisted and tied around the arm of my chair or shutting my car door and having it still stick out. Don’t worry, I always check to see if nothing is damaged because I do feel guilty afterwards.’

What about the content?

‘What I love about this mini bag is that there’s no room for me to carry around a bunch of junk. I tend to be good at hoarding junk. From candy for my dog to accessories that I take off during the day because they start annoying me; I can leave them in my bag for weeks without even realizing it.’

What do you always carry around with you?

‘Not too surprising but I always have my iPhone, my wallet and my keys. Can’t get very far without these essentials, unfortunately. Well, I can’t at least. Other than the latter, I always carry around perfume and chapstick. And change; for some reason I always have a hard time closing my wallet when I put it back in my bag…’

What do you think are the best qualities a bag can have?

‘Definitely having a strap that will allow you to carry your bag around like a cross body. Plus different compartments to store things and keep it organized. And I also think that a great back is the perfect way to finish styling an outfit.’
