My life in a bag
VIVIAN HOORN
When Vivian is at work (she works as our in-house photographer), she always makes sure that all the spotlight is on us. She’ll get down on her knees in the most uncomfortable positions to get that perfect shot of our Chanel bag or new sneakers. Since Vivian herself is evidently a stunner and has a wardrobe to die for, we wanted to shine some light on her newest Louis Vuitton purchase. Here’s a fun little fact; did you know Vivian always carries around a notebook? She’s a huge fan of making lists and jotting down all creative thoughts that pop up in her head. How many bags do you own?
‘8.’
What’s the story behind this bag?
‘I needed a bag for my camera, but regular camera bags can’t really be classified as sexy. When I’m off shooting photos, I always wear comfortable gear and that is also why I opted for this vintage LV backpack to still look stylish since I also work as a freelance stylist.’
How well do you take care of your bags?
‘Horribly. I’m not as careful with them as I should be which is so stupid. Last week I even helped my Chanel to a bit of soap.’
What about its content?
‘The bigger the bag, the more crap I throw in there. But that’s not a bad thing because any time someone needs a bandaid, scissors, some Advil or a fresh pair of socks, they know where to be.’
What do you always carry around with you?
‘Candy.’
What do you think are the best qualities of a bag?
‘I want one that isn’t a drag. Not to heavy. Kinda of the same qualities you look for in a man.’
What can we still find on your wish list?
‘I definitely want a nice denim bag. And a new Chanel. Plus, I want them to be vintage. It gives the bag more character.’
