Prom 3.0
Dress codes for certain events can cause quite the bit of stress. What the heck do you wear? What is everyone else wearing? What if I show up wearing the same thing as someone else? Avoiding these questions is implausible, but you can make sure you dress appropriately for the occasion. But is that what you really want? Because when it comes to the clothing rules for galas or proms, we can’t help but find them tame and boring. And all those themes: white tie, black tie, cravat blanche and decorations… They don’t really sound all too fresh and fashionable.
Luckily nowadays it’s okay to bend the rules a bit and for anyone that doesn’t want to go to a prom wearing a cupcake form fitted unsexy dress, you don’t have to. (Hallelujah!)
Let’s make a bet you’ll be the talk of the town in the evening.
Get inspired by girls like Alexa Chung, Kendall Jenner, Leandre Medine and Cara Delevingne. They’ve transformed male staple pieces into something ultra glam and ultra feminine. Go for a great quality tux and combine it with girly accessories. Wear slim fitted trousers with a pair of extremely high heels wear a cool brooch or an eye-catcher around your neck. Or going for a pretty lace blouse for under your suit. Don’t forget to turn those lips and nails of yours into a pretty shade of red and let’s make a bet you’ll be the talk of the town in the evening.
