THESE GOOD LOOKING TWIN SISTERS ARE DOMINATING THE RUNWAY

Parading across the Dolce & Gabbana, Missoni and Gucci runways with sky high legs. It’s a daily job for these two cool Russian sisters. Lia and Odette Pavlova are the current golden girls in the world of modeling. Where did these two gorgeous chicks suddenly come from?

Lia Pavlova is one tiny little step ahead in the world of her sister, but she’s still pretty much brand new to the industry. She made her runway debut during the Gucci FW15/16 show after which Balenciaga, Céline, Christian Dior, Dries van Noten, Elie Saab, Lanvin, Miu Miu and Saint Laurent followed. And the rest is history. The useful site Models.com made an overview of models who had walked the most amount of shows this past year and the number one spot goes to Lia with 71 (!) shows followed closely by her twin sister with 62 shows. Good lord, that’s insane in such a short amount of time. Oh, and she ‘opened’ two shows and ‘closed’ three. Kind of like the holy grail in the fashion world, because these prominent places are always given to the worlds’ best models.

The Russian girls aren’t the only ones dominating the ranking list. We’ve mentioned it before, but we’re always proud of all the girls strutting down the runway from the Netherlands. Marjan Jonkman, Maartje Verhoef, Julie Hoomans and my name twin Kiki Willems can all be found in the top ten hottest runway models du moment. The Netherlands is hot. But obviously we knew that already.
