THIS HAPPENS TO YOUR BODY WHEN YOU’RE IN LOVE
And when I say in love, I mean really really in love, can’t eat because you’re so in love, can’t talk, can’t sleep. In over your head in love. It’s an amazing feeling (that I am very very familiar with) which isn’t crazy, because your body goes through a lot in the process. Are you still not sure whether you really are in love with someone or just sort of like them? Then go through this check list.
- Your heart beats at a faster pace, you get rosy cheeks (and ears) and you feel anxious the entire day.
- You feel nauseous and don’t have an appetite. Recognizable?
- When you feel attracted to someone and you’re together, then your pupils will get bigger. This is because of the stimulation in your nervous system.
- You feel incomplete when he’s not around you. An uneasy feeling.
- You’re on cloud nine, you feel like you can take on the world.
- Scientists have studied both oxytocine (the love hormone) and alcohol to see what their effects are on certain parts of the brain, and although both are different, the feeling is similar. After a couple glasses of alcohol, you feel more at ease, less frightened and aggressive and you’ve got more confidence.
- Your heart does a little jump for joy when you receive a text from him.
