too busy to workout? I didn’t think so
I can’t say I’m not guilty of ever saying: “Oh I really don’t have any time to workout, I’m way too busy.” BULLSHIT! Working out is important. I mean it. So make time for it. Why? Yes, duh, it keeps you slim, but there are so many more aspects to it. It’ll put you in a good mood, it’ll clear your head (which is exactly what you need when you’re busy), you’ll have more energy, better skin and the list goes on. So make time to workout. How? Like this:
Set your alarm a little earlier. All you really need is 15 minutes. I repeat: 15 minutes of your day. Just do the 7 minute work out twice. Right next to your bed. It’ll be over before you know it, you can hop under the show, get dressed and head to work.
I would definitely recommend working out in the morning. That way you’ll start your day off with a ton of energy, and happy. So, set that alarm of yours a little earlier. It doesn’t mean you have to head to bed earlier in the evening, but just make sure you avoid playing with your phone or watching TV when you’re in bed.
The above things are only going to keep you up longer when you’re laying in bed. So avoid them and here’s what you’re going to do. Wake up an hour earlier and run around your block. All you have to do is set food outside your front door and you’ll be in the ‘gym’.
Prefer working out with someone but you also want to meet up with a friend? Why not go jogging together? You can always head to a café afterwards for a drink.
Don’t think your workouts should last for a really long time. When you’re having trouble finding time to plan in a workout, then opt for one that only lasts half an hour. Take a half an hour run for example that requires you to do other exercises at the same time. You’ll be home before you know it.
Make a schedule. Work, then workout, then friends. That half an hour you spent hanging out on your couch could have been spent working out. Don’t get me wrong though, relaxing is important too, but what I’m trying to say is that you really do have the time to workout, so quit saying you don’t. Clear?
