why i love bananas

This morning I found a dark brown banana in my fruit bowl. So brown that you couldn’t really peel it anymore and take proper bites. You’d probably think it’s best to throw it out. DON’T DO IT! Grab a bowl, add a scoop of Greek yoghurt and add the soft, sweet, banana into it. Top it off with some chopped walnuts and you’ll have a wonderful (healthy!) breakfast. I sometimes purposely let my bananas go brown and then put them into the freezer to make ice cream out of it the following day. All you need is a mixer and cottage cheese. It’s that simple. The darker the banana, the sweeter it is. You won’t need to ad any sugar. Want to know more reasons why I’m pro bananas?

– They contain some type of ‘happiness dust’ called tryptophan. It makes you happy and gives you a satisfied feeling.
