Happy & Healthy

workouts you can do during meetings

I know I know, we’re all extremely busy and the very last thing we have time for is to work out. I get it; after a busy day at the office you’re tired, you’re hungry and all you want to do is head home and eat (perhaps morning workouts a better idea?). However, there is a way to compensate. Especially during those really boring office meetings that are mandatory to attend. A little farfetched but how cool would it be if there was a circle of home trainers for you to use during meetings? Unfortunately too good to be true.. But don’t worry, here are a few exercises for you to do during your weekly Monday morning meeting.

Tighter than tight

Squeeze those buns. Then release. Add tension. And release again. Just make sure you don’t move around too much, fidgeting in your chair is going to look odd in the middle of a meeting.

Ditch the chair

Opt for a fitness ball instead of a chair. Sit up straight and put some tension on your abs. That way you’ll be working out your core as well as your back muscles.

From left to right

Okay, so this might annoy your colleagues but when you’re seated behind your office desk, make turns to the left and to the right on your chair while adding tension to your abs. Hellllooo core muscles.

Secretly under the table

Sit straight on the floor and lift your feet just a tiny few centimeters from the floor. Same goes here: add tension to your abs and after a couple hundred meetings, you’ll have abs of steel.

Employee of the week

Get up out of your chair and grab coffee for everyone. While the coffee is brewing, do some squats.
