Winter Wonders

One of the few things that make winter bearable are the holidays. It’s cold, you keep slipping, but the whole world looks like one big Christmas tree. Everywhere there are lights hanging, by 2 PM you’re already a bit tipsy from the glühwein (it’s just like tea) and your fur hat makes every day feel like an A/W fashion show. All over the world, the big department stores transform their windows into true works of art. New York's Saks Fifth Avenue has been taken over by yetis, and Paris's Printemps and London's Harrods take you back to the roaring twenties. We can’t wait to admire the Christmas windows of the Bijenkorf.
