Everybody’s talking about

 THE WINNING LOOKS OF TVOH

You probably had either your work Christmas party last night (which you have a raging hangover from today, but that aside) or you were watching the finale of The Voice of Holland. And with you, two million six hundred seventy-seven others. Please.
Because we were making passes left and right here and really did our best to ‘use’ all the delivered bottles of wine’ during our Christmas party, I watched the broadcast this morning on my little laptop. Enjoyed Julia, and Mitchell and Jill and Gerrie and everyone. But of course, my fashion eye was drawn to all the nice looks that the contestants and the jury had chosen for their Moment of Voice eh Fame.

Let me start with the look of the winner. I called Chantal Bles this morning, the stylist who styles all the contestants of TVOH. “I think it’s important that the contestants of TVOH wear affordable clothing. It’s nice that the clothing is within reach of people. All the looks from last night were sold out immediately after the broadcast. I really think that’s so nice.” Julia looked very much ‘Julia’ last night. Cool but with a bit of sparkle because she loves that. “Actually, I had thought of a more subdued pair of pants under the glitter jacket for the last song. But during the second to last song, Julia ripped her pants. Nobody else saw it, but it was a little stress moment when Julia had to sing her next song. Luckily, I had these studded pants backstage and could just slip into them. She changed in record time and was back on stage just in time. It was a bit much in terms of accents, but hey, a winner should shine, right?”

During the second to last song, Julia RIPPED her pants

The pants with studs are from ASOS, the glitter jacket is from 2Balou, a really nice store with affordable items in Eindhoven. The top is from Mango and the ankle boots are from Steve Madden, which completed the look.

And then I want to take a moment to talk about Ilse's look. It’s no secret that we are fans of her and also of her stylist Anouk Van Griensven. So I called Anouk this morning. It was business as usual the day after The Voice.” On the bike in the rain with two kids who want to shop, May” On the cargo bike, but on the way to glamour because daughter wanted to put together an outfit herself.

Ilse's outfit was thought of a while ago. And she looked incredibly current again with a sweater, skirt, ear piece (that’s really the thing right now. Get another one for your Christmas dinner. You’ll be the bomb, really.) and amazing shoes from Alexander McQueen.

Ilse, Anouk, I keep saying it. Of all the COMBINATIONS, you are the best pair.

“The sweater is from Manish Arora, a designer I often use for shoots in Marie Claire,” Anouk tells. “I was at Totem, the press office in Paris that lends me this brand, and they are super enthusiastic that Ilse is wearing it.” The sweater and the ear piece both come from him. Ilse's skirt is from Sandro and is quite affordable. Tights underneath where you can still see the definition of the leg and then those amazing shoes that I recently held in my hands at Shoebaloo.

And now I’m racing to the PC to see if those shoes are still waiting for me.
