Hair-in-your-jacket

There are those trends where you really need an A-list hipster to know that it deserves the ’hip‘ stamp. Because if a less fashionable specimen had used this trend, you would definitely think she missed the mark. I first saw this hair-in-your-jacket/sweater/blouse trend with Rinke Tjepkema, editor of Vogue Netherlands. We were having tea at the Conservatorium Hotel and I honestly thought she had forgotten to pull her long hair out of her sweater. But she looked so beautiful and styled that I felt we were dealing with a case of intention here. And sure enough, a few months later I saw all sorts of cuties during every fashion week with their long hair in their sweaters. Even better; casually throwing your jacket over your shoulders (trend 1) and tucking your long hair underneath (trend 2). Easy, cheap, and ultra-hip. And Rinke, you need to keep an eye on her.
