I discovered something again. Valentina Zelyaeva. For years the face of Ralph Lauren and that's not surprising because she is stunningly beautiful. As is customary with top models, she has a fascination for healthy eating and has her own blog. About healthy food of course. I came across her on the site of Lonneke Engel. Another lovely health freak. Achieving such a body usually doesn't happen by itself and I find that nice to know.
In this video, Valentina makes brazil nut milk from Brazil nuts. Delicious for your shake and much better than cow's milk.
I understand that healthy eating has taken a backseat these days (at least for me) and that you probably won't start paying attention until Wednesday. But if you make this milk today and put it in the fridge, you've already taken the first step towards a healthy life. Cheers!
Ingredients
- 500ml Brazil nuts
- 2 dates
- 1 liter of water
- 1 teaspoon organic vanilla powder
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- A pinch of Himalayan sea salt
You can keep the milk for 4 days in the fridge. Mix it into a shake with a handful of spinach, a banana, and some blueberries. A delicious easy, healthy, skinny breakfast. And that's what we want, right?
Tip
For the evening on the couch with a nice movie: one tea bag tai chi tea and warm up and froth the nut milk. To make it a bit sweeter, you can add a little honey. Enjoy!
