7 reasons why I love Twingo

About 8 weeks ago, I swapped my rather large vehicle for a sleeker model. I drove it to Antwerp, glided over the Champs Elysées, and parked its rear in the smallest spot on the Leidsegracht. I've really come to love this little car. Why? Because.

  1. Because it has the smallest turning circle in the world, allowing even slightly traumatized Jet to laugh and cruise through Amsterdam. Unexpected roadworks? No problem. Just turn the steering wheel left and keep going.
  2. It has a find my car app. Particularly handy when you're having lunch at 5&33 and you park your car in that immense Kolk-Q parking where no hints are given about where you are. Quite annoying. But not anymore because this app offers hope in desperate times.
  3. The passenger seat can go particularly flat. Ideal for sleeping children or tired colleagues who need to catch a quick nap during the day.
  4. It's so cuddly that even Carine Roitfeld ‘C’est chique’ called out to me as I drove away from the Grand Palais after the Chanel show.
  5. Because I finally, finally, finally don’t call illegally anymore. Through the Twingo app, you find your route planner, you have access to all the radio stations in the world, and you also have a car kit. My colleagues are much happier with it too because I can finally be heard.
  6. Because everyone is very nice to me on the road. I don’t know what it is, but this car does something to people.
  7. Because it serves particularly well as a package holder at parties. At our one-year anniversary party, we parked it in the corner. Occasionally, we blew into it between dances and placed our gifts inside. And I can tell you, there was plenty of space.
