The Amayzine editors are really looking forward to closing their laptops for a few days during this Christmas holiday and sinking into a nice book. Whether that’s on a beach in Rio or by a crackling fireplace in Haarlem. We’re all going to enjoy. Although there are still piles of good unread books waiting, these are our favorites for this holiday.

1. Josselin – How To Be Parisian Everywhere You Go / Anne Berest, Caroline De Maigret, Audrey Diwan & Sophie Mas
   “Because I’m just crazy about Parisiennes, and they always look amazing – it seems like they don’t spend any time in front of the mirror, but nothing could be further from the truth. The book is written very humorously.”

2. Charlene – Thrive / Arianna Huffington
   “If you plan to conquer the world with an online platform, Arianna Huffington is of course a great example. Additionally, I find her modern view on the definition of success very inspiring.”

3. May - In My Shoes / Tamara Mellon
   “The rebellious founder of Jimmy Choo tells her story.”
4. Liesbeth – The Fault In Our Stars / John Green
   “I cried my eyes out while reading and was definitely unapproachable for half a day after finishing it, because I needed to process it all. It has also been adapted into a film and I hope you haven’t seen the movie yet, because you must read the book first. After that, you can dive into the rest of John Green’s work because that’s also a treat, for example Will Grayson Will Grayson.”

5. Jet – Plenty More / Yotam Ottolenghi
   “I can’t wait to dive into Ottolenghi’s latest book.”
