APPS TO PIMP YOUR INSTAGRAM

God, life would be a lot different without a filter. I'm of course talking about the Instagram filter, you get that. Come on, let's add a bit more color to your head with the earlybird or let's make that sky a tad bluer with Lo-Fi and brighten things up a bit with sierra, then everything looks a bit fresher.
Someone recently said to me: “Okay, so you’re addicted.’ Aiii, that hurt, but I really couldn’t deny it either. Please, tell me you also check Insti (we call it ‘intsti’ in the office) at least once an hour?

To make it all a bit more complicated (or even more fun), there are more apps to pimp your photo. I warn you, you can spend hours on this.

Handwriter

With this, you can add text under your photo in different fonts and colors. You know, something like ‘happy birthday’, a date, ‘sunday breakfast’ or whatever.

Afterlight

This is the favorite app among bloggers. Just take a look at the Insti account of our own Josselin. She almost always uses Afterlight. You can really brighten up photos with it. White becomes whiter.

Instaflip

Don’t know what to do anymore and have too many photos to choose from which one to post? Then with Instaflip, you can create a fun slideshow. This is especially popular at the end of the year to showcase the highlights of the past year.

Instavid

Liesbeth and I made an Instagram video while cycling through the streets of Paris. A French chanson could have made it even more fun. With this app, you can add any music to the video.

Picfx

Sun rays, rainbows, hearts, stars, you name it, they have it.

Pic collage

The name says it all. Not as fun as a real collage on the wall, but you can definitely play around with it. Very simple, check the photos and then drag them to the spot on the collage wall.

Squaready

Real Instagrammers always photograph in ‘square mode’. That’s exactly the size of your Instagram photo. If you don’t do that, it might happen that when you want to upload a picture, the person on the right is no longer in it or your high heels (which is the most important!) are cropped off. Thank god for Squaready, which allows you to crop the photo. Resize.
